• The Tasting Tour
The Château du Taillan welcomes you from Monday to Saturday between 10 AM and 6 PM and Sunday.
On reservation: 6€ per guest
• The Gourmet Tour
Includes a guided tour and tasting of two of our wines, served with cheese and meats of the region.
Reservation is mandatory: 12€ per guest.
• Dinner at Château du Taillan
Experience the “Château way of life for a night…”
Minimum: 10 persons - Maximum: 20 persons.
Appetizers served on the Château’s terrace. Includes a seasonal menu with local products from the South-West, served in the dining room of the Château.
Château’s wine:
- Château La Dame Blanche: dry white Bordeaux.
- Château du Taillan 2004, served in a decanter.
- Château du Taillan 1999, served in a decanter
- Old vintage Château du Taillan 1988 or 1989.
- Coffee served in the lounges of the Château.

• The casual Lunch
Minimum: 10 people.
A lunch in front of the Château’s winery with old tables and benches.
Casual lunch with Aquitaine’s flavour: Oysters with the white wine of Château de La Dame Blanche and rib steak cooked on wine shoots with Château du Taillan.

• The Workshop of the Medocaines
Throughout the year, the Château du Taillan organizes, in association with the group the Medocaines, a whole set of activities involving wine and tasting for amateurs and neophytes. These activities allow people to acquire or to deepen their knowledge in oenology and to develop their tastes and senses, all while enjoying themselves.
° The blending workshop: Discover the different grape varieties of Medoc: Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, and taste a mystery blend in an attempt to uncover the secret of its composition. It ends with the tasting of the 4 Medocaines wines.

° The Harvest Workshop: During the harvest, the 4 MEDOCAINES will open their doors for a whole day in order to introduce you to the birth of a new vintage.
The visitor sees two wineries in a day:
The morning, at a first winery, is dedicated to the vine: berry tasting, grape picking, and grape sorting.
Then comes a wine tasting, before a traditional lunch with real pickers.
Next it is time for the second winery, where the secrets of the vinification of red wines are to be learned: topics include maceration, fermentation, and pumping-over.
Tasting of must and then of a bottled wine from the property.
